Pitching a Product or Service Powerpoint

Please create a sales pitch for a product/service (one of the class projects).  You can determine whatever product/service you want to use to demonstrate the Pitching Speech.  Tell the story to create a connection with potential buyers, solve the problem and/or if its possible solve the problem: Are you aware of the common problems that your potential buyers may face? How will your product or service solve the issue? Do not forget to back it up with facts, and ask for the sale.

 

Selling can be intimidating, but our useful checklist will help you prepare to persuade the customer, overcome objections and close the sale

1. Find a service or product for the customer
2. Establish sales objectives
3. Create the key message
4. Prepare a logical argument that will convince your potential customer(s) to take an action.
5. Prepare an introduction and closing statement
6. Collect facts or evidence to support your speech/ argument
7. Ask for the sale

 

During the Selling Pitch:

 

1. Introduction (1-2 minutes)

• Capture the audiences attention (be enthusiastic)
• Make eye contact
• Tell the story
• Focus on your service or product (and how it will benefit the customer)

  

2. Body (3 minutes)

• Present the services or products features, advantages and benefits
• Present your key message
• Provide sensory support materials (images, models, PowerPoint,etc.)

 

3. Conclusion (1-3 minutes)

• Remind your audience of your main argument (review)
• Be persuasive and convince your audience to make a decision
• Collect facts or evidence to support your speech/ argument
• Ask for the sale
