After listening to Jill Bolte Taylor’s interview answer the following questions one by one, and in order.
  1. What do you [think you] know about your self?  Are you bold, immaterial, big, what you eat, a specific weight/volume/density, smart, sassy, silly, of sound mind, contemplative, good at video games, creative, reliable, unreliable, just an illusion, …,etc.?
  2. Can we rewrite the narrative?  Is the way that we describe ourselves to ourselves a powerful influence on our capacities?  (i.e. Can we become more or less creative by defining ourselves as more or less creative?)
  3. If language is necessary for this left-brain consciousness that we are all working so hard to develop, then what happens when language goes away?  Where does "I" go?
  4. What, if anything, does this tell us about the self?
